Google announced that it will no longer make improvements
to their Google Notebook.
And their Firefox addon will eventually disappear.

I’m sad to see the end of the Notebook
(not the book or movie, though it is a good story),
since I haven’t been able to find any good, free
programs that allow me to copy and compile newsworthy notes
with the flexibility and ease of my dear friend, Notebook.

The hunt for a good substitute begins.
