About

I’m single and loving it….
I hope to find true love before I die,
but I’m not in a rush to find it too soon.
If I never find it,
I hope I love to have peace with that reality.
Although I’ve found what I thought was love,
I found out it was a lie.

So I’m on a journey to piece myself together
and discover my true self again,
one reflective piece at a time.

In some regards, I am very traditional;
I believe some things are worth fighting for,
like integrity, friendship and love.

In many ways, I’m a non-traditionalist
because I love to challenge the status quo.

I have two terriers, Bingo & Samoa, who despite
being dogs are the most humane beings I may know.

I love to take photos, watch people, read books,
challenge myself, talk about ideas, write about my thoughts,
and rock a lot of boats.

Oftentimes, people misunderstand me because
I have a dry sense of humor,
but I found out a long time ago that
I’m not very good at telling jokes so I stick
to telling my story the way that I think
life presents its lessons to me,
one laughable, dry lesson at a time.

I hope you are up for the journey
and can laugh at life with me,
and learn something with me, too.

  • Life’s Prayer

In this battle that goes on through life, I ask for a field that is fair. With a chance that is equal to all in the strife, and the courage to do and to dare. If I should win, let it be by the code, with my faith and my honor held high. If I should lose, let me stand by the road, and cheer as the winners go by.
